In this empowering conversation, Kristine Rodríguez is a survivor turned changemaker who founded GRL Collective with the mission to advocate for womxn and girls globally.
Kristine is a Latina entrepreneur who shares her journey and all the challenges she faced along the way.
We begin with her first path when Kristine worked in the music industry and took ownership of her values. She shares how it’s vital to have mentors who want to see you grow and starting GRL Collective after a publicized trial in which she testified against her abuser who was sentenced to life in prison for his crimes.
Kristine also opens up about struggling with her mental health after the trial and how helping young girls from The Sambhali Trust helped her find her true path. During her trip to India, she realized that being an empath is her superpower and how she’s been able to place her values and help girls through GRL Collective.
Now, GRL Collective is a Latina founded lifestyle brand for girls that give a f*ck. Each and every piece highlights and elevates womxn of color - especially to continue their support of the ten girls from the Sambhali Trust to advance their education, and to inspire others to turn their darkness into light.
